They are reporting that Madoff's wife several days prior to his arrest had shifted millions of dollars from their account, sent very expensive family jewelry to other's, and sent checks to relatives and friends. This does not sound like a person who had no involvement and no interest in her husband's finances. Also, supposedly, several family members were also involved in Madoff's "financial empire".<br />
